Rosehall Run Pinot Noir (Prince Edward County) – 750mL
One of the hallmarks of pinot noir is the elevated acidity displayed while offering fully ripe tannins. This bodes well for ageability if desired while still offering early drinkability. This wine was aged in 30% French oak and about 10% of the overall cepage saw new wood for 5 months.
Medium-bodied with plenty of fruit on the nose. Luscious red berries and delicate floral notes on the palate including raspberry, cherry, and strawberry with lively acidity followed by hints of sweet toasty oak and light smoky characters, long and lingering finish.
